Surgery Frequently Asked Questions

Will insurance help pay for surgery?
Unfortunately, our office does not accept any insurance, even if your insurance will cover the procedure. All surgical expenses are expected to be paid by the client. Forms of payment for SURGERIES ONLY include checks, cash, card, or care credit.

WHERE IS SURGERY PERFORMED?
Procedures are performed in our in-office surgical suite at our North Myrtle Beach location.

WHAT MEDICINES SHOULD BE AVOIDED BEFORE AND AFTER HAVING SURGERY?
Two weeks before and after your surgery, please avoid aspirin, aspirin-like medications, or any anti-inflammatory medications. Avoid dietary suppressants, dietary supplements, and any “natural herbs/remedies” as well.

CAN YOU PERFORM SURGERY ON SOMEONE WHO SMOKES?
Smoking or consuming nicotine in any form can lead to complications and delays with the body’s healing process. It is recommended to stop all nicotine consumption 6 weeks before and after your surgery.
